About Strengthening Families Program 10-14
The Strengthening Families Program (SFP 10-14) is a nationally recognized, evidence-based program designed to support parents, caregivers, and youth ages 10 to 14. The program helps prevent teen substance use, strengthens parenting skills, and builds positive family relationships.
Delivered in local communities, SFP 10-14 brings together groups of 7-10 families for seven weekly sessions. Each session includes dinner, separate activities for parents and youth, and joint family time. Families participate in guided discussions, interactive activities, and videos that reflect real-life situations in diverse households.
Led by trained facilitators, the program is fun, engaging, and effective, making a lasting impact on Washington families, across all 50 U.S. states, and over 25 countries around the world.
